If you are accessing the EBC reader outside the IP address of your college: go to the web portal of your college/organisation. Then, login to your organisation's portal and then click on the EBC Reader from within web portal to access your eLibrary.

Using Wildcard Search Method. This Search allowing you to combine keywords with operators (or modifiers) such as AND, NOT and OR to further produce more relevant results.

You can use this search by:

Enter the text with operators - AND, OR, NOT in the search tab.
Select Wildcard from the Search Methods.
Click on Search to view results.
Using Search WILDCARDS – as shown below

When you open your EBC Reader, you will view your Library page. Tap on the eBook to download it on your mobile device. Once the eBook is downloaded you can access it.

You can view the downloaded book on your device by tapping on the Downloaded option at the bottom of the screen.

There are following Search Methods available on EBC Reader:

**All Words **– Search for ALL the words you enter in your search terms. Search can be limited to proximity between 2 or more words.
**Exact Phrase **– Search for the exact phrase/sentence anywhere inside the all ebooks, notes and annotations.
**Any Words **– It looks for ANY of the matching search keywords entered.
**Boolean **– Search allowing you to combine keywords with operators (or modifiers) such as AND, NOT and OR to further produce more relevant results.

To extend the proximity of your search just click on the proximity menu & select from available options:- In iOS/Android: upto 2 words - to - upto 10 words In Web edition: upto 2 words - to - upto 50 words
