'Bookmarks' help you to revisit the page later. Let's suppose You want to share a page or a book with your associate, tap on the Bookmark icon on the top menu of your screen. The relevant page will be added to the annotations list. Choose the bookmark and tap on the dropdown menu, indicated by three dots (...) at the end of the bookmark, the first option in the dropdown menu is 'Copy Link', simply tap on it.

While reading on the EBC Reader you came across some important text that you want to share with your colleague who is working on a case brief. You can highlight/underline the text, it will then become an 'Annotation'.
To share this annotation, tap on the dropdown menu present at the end of the annotation, the second option in the dropdown menu is 'Share Link', simply tap on it. Now, your selected annotation is converted to a unique link that can be shared easily via email, WhatsApp, SMS, Facebook, Twitter or the link can be simply copied and shared via any alternative method.

Developing A Reading or Reference List

If you want to share a few books or chapters or pages with your colleagues for research, all you need to do is bookmark the cover page, the beginning of a chapter, or the relevant page of the books that you want to share.
Once, you have bookmarked the cover page, the beginning of a chapter, or the relevant page of the books you can go to the 'Annotations' pane, tap on the dropdown menu present at the end of the bookmark. The first option in the dropdown menu is 'Share Link', simply tap on it. There are multiple options to share bookmarks.

Then tap on 'Copy' to copy the link and paste it in the other window (Notes/Mail/Word/One Note or any other Note-taking or Word Processing app).
This reference list or reading list, can be always shared with others, or opened by simply clicking each link in the list, and it will automatically open the bookmark, annotation or the relevant page.

The EBC Reader shared Links, can be opened Offline or Online from the reference text. Further these shared links can be opened across ALL devices with the EBC Reader App. This means that you can use your shared links list for Presenting in Court, Drafting an Opinion for Reference or Reading or a Client Briefing.

Hence a link shared from an iOS device, can be opened on the EBC Reader Web. A link shared from EBC Reader Android device will also open on the EBC Reader iOS devices.

The link shared will directly take you to the exact page where the annotation was prepared.
